In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus told us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The Sabbath was a beautiful picture, of which Jesus is now the reality. If You are living in Christ and He is living in you, everything changes. It is no longer up to us to work for perfection.
– If the goal is obedience, trust the One who obeyed perfectly to live obedience through you.
– If the goal is rest, lean into the One who finished the work to provide His rest in you.
– If the goal is pleasing God, believe in the One who already has please Him perfectly to please Him now through you..

In Christ, you’re not chasing or performing the Sabbath.  You’re living in it as He lives in you.
